Calathea & Maranta Mix

I just love the beautiful variegated foliage that is found in both the Calathea and Maranta genus' of plants.

They are some of the most ornate and aesthetically creative to be found. In order to provide the best environment for your Calatheas and Marantas, a good soil must be well-draining and moisture-retentive with a slightly acidic pH.

I have taken all of the guess work out of things for you. Here you will find two bag size options of this premium substrate recipe which ensures optimal drainage and perfect ventilation for healthy and robust roots.

This mix includes: Perlite, vermiculite, charcoal, pumice, and coco coir...while I will let you in on some of the recipe mix, I will not let you in on all. It is a blend that seeks to promote the development of lush leaves and to enhance the overall health of your plants. It comes in three bag sizes.

We mix all substrates by hand to ensure quality control and the provision of premium products.
