Welcome to the Bee's Knees Nursery your ‘go-to’ online store for all of your indoor plant care needs. 

Our mission: We are here to help guide you on your quest to create a healthy, vibrant, and stunning tropical oasis in your own home.

I think my business' name is a pretty great way of capturing the goals, objectives and focus of what The Bee's Knees Nursery is all about. The Cambridge Dictionary defines being the 'bee's knees' to be 'excellent or of an extremely high standard'' to be a 'highly admired person or thing; pleasant, likable, and wonderful'.

The Bee’s Knees Nursery has been established for, well, you really! 

My business is a culmination of blood, sweat and tears, laughter, plant-road-trip-shopping, hours and hours poring over studies, reports and books about plants, and the many years I have obsessed over, loved on and cared for my own indoor plants. This is my chance to share the knowledge, the best (in my own opinion) tried and tested products, and plant-care habits I have gained during this process. I have learnt so much. What to do. What not to do. What works. What doesn't work that well and what it takes to provide the best possible environment for indoor plants to not just ‘survive’ but to ‘thrive’.

On one final note though and one that is very close to my heart, and that is the humble bee. 

How amazing, fundamental and incredibly pivotal is the existence of bees in our lives? Bees are part of the biodiversity on which we all depend for our survival. There is no way to overstate their importance. This is my way of bringing attention to their vital role and you will find bees and bee-themed products scattered throughout my website, my marketing material and the accessories and resources available on my website. It is impossible to downplay their significance and our need to ensure their safety and future which, coincidentally, directly affects our own.

I promise to do all I can to help you provide the best possible substrates, conditions, and support to your plants. We only get out what we put in and on the grand plan and scheme of things, they don't ask for much!
