The BKN-Ponmix

Our Pon mix is made from high quality mineral stones that are free from contamination and pollutants. This mix is 100% suitable for all types of plants.

The purely mineral substrate helps to prevent root rot, fungus gnats, and other pests found to frequent normal soils. Optimal air/water ratio, provides a perfect 45%/55% air ratio, reducing vulnerability to diseases, overwatering, root rot and maintaining air permeability.

Composition: Volcanic pumice, lava rocks and zeolite.

Plants: This mix is for ALL plant types and includes Hoyas, Calatheas, Marantas, Philodendrons, Alocasias, Ficus, Monsteras, Dieffenbachias and Aglaonemas.

The BKN-Ponmix can be used as an alternative to Lechuza-Pon or Leca. It does not contain slow release fertiliser. 

Why should you use it?

• It is easier to clean up unlike soils and other substrates mixes;

• Works very well in a self-watering pot and effectively transfers moisture up into the roots using a capillary action;

Packaging: Our Ponmix is packaged by hand. Please bear in mind that this product may be quite heavy depending on what size and/or number of bags you order. I do not advise ordering it with plants for shipping and if you wish to order more than one bag, this can be subject to additional shipping charges and non-express shipping. If this is the case, you will be contacted before the order is sent to you. 

Size Options: 2L and 5L.

Please note: Our substrate mixes are sold by volume and are measured at the time of packing. Some settling of the contents may occur during shipping.
