Orchiata Bark

Orchiata is a standalone growing medium that can be used directly from the bag. It will not release any toxins to plants and it is a unique stable medium for potting and re-potting.

Orchiata is a sustainable growing medium produced from the finest quality 100% pure New Zealand Pinus radiata bark. Pinus radiata is sourced from renewable man made forests ensuring availability into the future. The bark is aged not composted which means it will not further compost and break down meaning it will last for several years. 

We prepare and package all substrates by hand to ensure quality control and the provision of premium products.

Packaging: The Orchiata Bark you order from us is packaged by hand. Please bear in mind that this product may be quite heavy depending on what size and/or number of bags you order. I do not advise ordering it with plants for shipping and if you wish to order more than one bag, this can be subject to additional shipping charges and non-express shipping. If this is the case, you will be contacted before the order is sent to you.

Chip Size: 9mm - 12mm.

Size Options: 2L, 3L and 5L.

Please note: Our substrate mixes are sold by volume and are measured at the time of packing. Some settling of the contents may occur during shipping.
